TMS Services


TMS will develop an individualized package for your nonprofit organization based on need. The nonprofit organization can choose from the following services offered: Interim Executive Placement; Executive Search; Executive Support, Coaching and Evaluation; and Communications Plan Design for internal and external stakeholders. Depending on the needs of your organization’s transition, you may need one or all of the services provided by Transition Management Solutions.

Interim Executive Placement

TMS provides nonprofit organizations with immediate access to senior-level executives when a temporary need arises.  We are a Texas firm, small enough to give personal service. We take the time to learn about our clients' needs before taking on an assignment to ensure the best match with our Associates.  We provide temporary executives when a need arises due to:

Interim management can be a cost effective service that helps organizations through a period when there is a need for an executive for a limited amount of time.  TMS Associates are fully devoted to the task and are willing to accept accountability along with responsibility.

Executive Search

The pool of qualified candidates for nonprofit organizations is narrow, and the leadership crisis is expected to grow. It is critical for the NPO to invest time and money in finding the right talent, and not every search firm is qualified to finding the unique talent needed to lead a Nonprofit Organization. TMS will find the right talent to meet the unique challenges your NPO faces.

Executive Support, Coaching and Evaluation

The first year of the newly selected chief executive is critical to the long-term success of the organization. Board members often do not have the opportunity as volunteers to provide the support and oversight needed to ensure a successful transition. The pool of newly selected executives will include candidates from the private sector who have never led a NPO, and experienced nonprofit managers who are first-time executives. Both of these candidates face unique challenges. TMS can provide an annual plan of support, coaching and evaluation to help boards retain the talent they spent time and money attracting.

Communications Plan Design

The development of a strong communications plan for the leadership transition is very important to ensure continued strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
